Matthew 6:24; Luke 16:13 – Serving Two Masters (W)

You aren’t able to serve God and mammon.” – Luke 16:13, W orld English . The thought has been presented that if Jehovah is one Lord, and if Jesus is another “Lord”, then there are two masters, and Jesus said that we cannot serve two masters. The thought seems to be imagined and assumed regarding Jesus’ words that Jesus and the Father must both be one master, else we would serving two Masters, and thus that we must either hate one or the other these two masters.
